As you know, I commit to engaging in a cleanse at the change of each season. Fall began on September 22, 2026 and so did the fall rendition of my cleanse. I was debating if I should try a new cleanse or detox some time ago, but decided to be a good steward stick with the one that catapulted my wellness journey – Goddess Body.
How it the Cleanse Started
If you recall, I completed a cleanse during the summer and released over 10 pounds. At the end of that cleanse my weight came in at 151.8 pounds. When I weighed myself on September 22nd, my weight and many other stats had elevated. My weight had elevated to 159.8 pounds. This means that I nearly gained it all back. I am leaning into the nearly because I did not gain it all back.

To be honest, I committed to a collection of changes that I did not adhere to. This is more than likely why much of the weight came back. Additionally, I returned to work which left me with the challenge of identifying the best times to walk and work my exercise plan. It’s all about the lessons…
Goddess Body Cleanse Results
For this iteration of the cleanse, I stuck with 21 days. I knew that returning to work along with other factors would make a 28-day commitment quite difficult. As usual, the first week was a fully plant-based week (no change for me). The second week was fully raw and the final week was fully liquid.
In lieu of making my own salads, smoothies, and juices, I opted for convenience. I purchased Bolthouse farms smoothies, other fresh juices, and a number of prepared raw foods.
In the end, my weight and a number of other stats decreased (154.4 pounds) resulting in a total weight loss of 5.4 pounds.

What’s Next
Now that I have seen the results over the course of 21 days without movement and considered my eating habits, I have invested in a WalkingPad and standing desk to increase my movement each day. As much as I loved outdoor walks this summer, the cold weather is not my friend. I found that the walks stimulated my mental wellness and the WalkingPad will support me in those efforts.
Another thing that I have begun to do is eat a liquid breakfast on most mornings. My liquid breakfast is usually a smoothie with a sea moss supplement added in for good measure. This allows me to break my fast with ease while nourishing my body with sea moss first thing. The liquid breakfast also leaves me nice and hungry for lunch, which I now prefer to be my largest meal of the day.
My next cleanse will either be in December or January. I may be trying a new cleanse for the new year. We shall see. Technically, it is supposed to be in December, but there is so much happening during that time, that I tend to move it to January for more realistic results. Stay tuned…
Peace and Love.
